Dubai has, in recent years, emerged as an important forum for international as well as domestic conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. A number of international conference organizers have established operations in Dubai.
Approximately 40 conferences and trade fairs relating to a wide variety of business, scientific and industrial fields are held each year. Some of the conference organizers and venues in Dubai include hotels, the Dubai World Trade Center, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Institute of International Research and DGM Exhibitions.

International trade fairs and exhibition held in Dubai each year include Arabian Travel, the International Spring Trade Fair, the Industrial Service, Plant Maintenance & Environment Technology Exhibition, the Arab Oil and Gas Show, Arab Lab, the Middle East International Boat Show, the Middle East International Motor Show, Index and Gitex.
